The work balances between a lecture-performance, a dance piece, and an installation, seeking its final form in real-time. It proposes, builds, and establishes, only to later shift, dismantle, and reject form. Between objects, movement, and words, the authors establish their own language of performance. Chairs, as everyday props, shift their function and become a transient element of the performance, much like words. The content emerges from the mutual relationship between the performers, words, and objects, inviting the audience to complete the performance through their own imagination.

Art organization Os was founded in 2023 by four dance artists of the same generation—Silvija Musić, Nataša Kustura, Sara Trbara, and Kristina Lisica—following their graduation from the Contemporary Dance Department at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. As professional dance artists, they envisioned Os as a space for collaborative authorship, rooted in shared artistic interests and the exploration of a collective choreographic language. Their work focuses on the relationship between the body, meaning, and interpretation, as well as the process-based investigation of touchpoints between individual poetics and a shared performance expression. The organization’s debut project is the performance On Words, Chairs and Everything You Might Read Into, choreographed by Matea Bilosnić in collaboration with performers Kristina Lisica, Nataša Kustura, and Silvija Musić. Premiering in October 2025, the production has since been in distribution, touring throughout Croatia. The work utilizes a subtle interplay of body, space, and context to question how we observe, interpret, and “read” the act of performance, leaving room for the audience’s multilayered perception and personal interpretation. In 2026, the Os Art Organization received support from the City of Zagreb and the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia for new projects. Among these is the duet Taking the Leap of Other, created and performed by Nataša Kustura and Silvija Musić, which was selected for co-production and its premiere at the Dance Week Festival (Tjedan suvremenog plesa). Through its continuous work, Os is building a distinctive collective identity within the contemporary dance scene, fostering long-term artistic research based on dialogue, collaboration, and collective creation.
