Galerija Novo is a pre­sen­ta­ti­on and pro­duc­ti­on spa­ce that has been ope­ra­ting in Pula sin­ce 2023 wit­hin the fra­mework of the Metamedij asso­ci­ati­on, in part­ner­ship with the Atanor, Faro11 and Labin Art Express XXI asso­ci­ati­ons, as a result of the coope­ra­ti­on of the infor­mal plat­form for the deve­lop­ment of con­tem­po­rary media art in Istria MI plus. The gal­lery’s acti­vi­ti­es are car­ri­ed out thro­ugh three basic pro­gram direc­ti­ons: 1. exhi­bi­ti­on pro­grams (exhi­bi­ti­ons, per­for­man­ce-sta­ge inter­ven­ti­ons, film scre­enin­gs, pre­sen­ta­ti­ons of art pro­jec­ts, open stu­dio, etc.), 2. pro­duc­ti­on pro­grams (wor­k­shops and resi­den­cy pro­grams) and 3. dis­cur­si­ve pro­grams (lec­tu­res, tal­ks with artis­ts, con­fe­ren­ces, round tables, forums, etc.). The spa­ce is open to anyo­ne who mat­c­hes its missi­on and are­as of acti­vity that inclu­de con­tem­po­rary media art and cul­tu­re, non-ins­ti­tu­ti­onal edu­ca­ti­on, youth work pro­grams, pro­grams for the deve­lop­ment of local com­mu­ni­ti­es and civil soci­ety, etc., thro­ugh a public competition.
