Zbogom formi

11 12 2025 – 16 1 2026

Zbogom formi (Farewell to Form) is a love letter that explores form from the perspective of an aesthetics in which the artistic, the political, and the social overlap. Until now it was presented as an installation and a performance. The core of the work consists of various metabolic processes of material transformation molded into ceramic plates glazed with ash and urine, accompanied by a 25-minute audio recording of a song. The inquiry into the nature of form is contextualized through transformation that mediates the creation of the material — both in the sense of physical substance and of social reality. Zbogom formi is an installation that seeks ways in which identity can precondition political solidarity within that reality. Orbiting around the concepts of community, transsexuality, and beauty, it addresses questions of political dynamics, the possibilities of voice exchange, and a desire that is not in question. It employs principles of listening as a practice aimed at finding critical approaches to the use of sound, voice, and text. Through reflection — as a lyrical and analytical gesture — it situates itself in the domain of imagining, which becomes a collective practice of rewriting meanings.
